Details
Alimagnet Park is a 178-acre community park located two blocks north of County Road 42 on County Road 11. The park is home to Burnsville's award-winning Alimagnet Dog Park as well as numerous other amenities including multi-use trails that welcome cross-country skiers, walkers, snowshoers, skijorers and cyclists.
Alimagnet Dog Park
The Alimagnet Dog Park is an enclosed, seven acre, off-leash canine exercise area owned and operated by the City of Burnsville and supported by members of People of Alimagnet Caring for K9s (PACK).
Dog park users are encouraged to purchase an optional $25 membership to help support the administration and maintenance costs of the park. Dog Park membership can be purchased at City Hall or by mailing in the Dog Park Membership Form.
The dog park features benches, shelters, waste bags and a walking path surrounding a stormwater pond. The pond's primary purpose is to collect rainwater and snowmelt runoff. The pond is maintained as a stormwater pond and not as a swimming pool. Allowing your dog to swim in the pond is at your own risk. Check with your veterinarian for information about the risks associated with swimming in lakes and ponds.
