Donating Homemade Masks

Thank you to Minnesota’s crafters who have been busily making homemade masks to help healthcare workers and assisted living facilities! If you have masks, gloves or other Personal Protective Equipment you wish to donate, please visit one of Dakota County’s drop sites.

Dakota County Donation Sites

  • Western Service Center (drop off in rear of building)
    14955 Galaxie Ave. Apple Valley, Minn.
    Thursdays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
    Help is available to unload items
  • Public library locations
    Including the Burnhaven Library at 1101 W County Road 42, Burnsville, Minn.
    Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Information for Congregate Living Facilities

The Burnsville Fire Department has a limited number of masks available for senior assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, group homes and other congregate living facilities. To request masks, please fill out the form below or contact the Fire Department.
